Its amazing, it actually looks like a photo. The shadows, the light, the reflexes of other objects, the details, EVERYTHING is in place and according to how it is supposed to look. The look, given to the techniques, is retro and kind of old. Colors are present, and as we talked in class, the line is not there as a crucial element, bit to mark details, not the different objects; thats marked with the change of colors
Even the objects reflected are shown brilliantly! It really does look like a photo, its amazing¡! I'd like to do something so well, something like this you can admire. It can be something greater than a photo for the fact that its hand-painted and it actually looks as if it were a picture. I liked that in the first picture, a man taking a photo is reflected, as trying to make you belive that all you'r seeing is a photo, but it actually isnt, its a painting! And they have it all, even the shadows are in a right position.
i like this art and for me is art because we can see a car and we see it ordinary and for example this cars are different because the artist have been original just because he is the first one to do it and to call the attention of the people. this cars looks like if they were like in move because of the shadows of all things and and make it look like a real photo if i think is better thatn a ohoto because if i take a picture may be i can´t see all this reflecction and also the ligh have been manage bery good.
I really liked it, the detail on it it´s fantastic, I dont find much similarity with what we saw in the last class(sbstract) but the work here is really well done, and another thing i really liked is that this paintings are all of old cars, which i like more than modern cars.

I love the work of this artist is just amazing how he can do this type of paintings manipulating the shadow, the light and everything so it looks like a photo!! is something that I have seen for the first time and I dont have words to explain the wonderful it looks because you look and you think is a photo but wow!! well, I think this is AMAZING, first of all I love the old and mega cuidados cars jaja, I love them. This artist is a genius, I first thought that they were real cars, and then I read "this are all paintings" and I was like OMG!! Don Eddy is an excellent artist, he really plays with your mind, because you think that they are real, but they aren´t. and the colors he used, and the bars, everything is very well done. I really love this paintings, I think they are awesome. I am in shock, i can´t believe they are painted, i am like in shock, but i like it alot!

When I fist saw the pictures, like two days ago i thought they were pictures!!!! but today that i read the information i cant believe they are painigs. Fantastic, Beautiful, amazing, wonderful and all adjectives that you can give to this paintings are accepted, but in a good way. The works of this artist are amzing, he is relly a good artist, I have never seen something like this, all the paintings well not paintings because they relly look like photos, are in some way perfect, there is not any error, I dont know whta they use to do this, but really I like it, and not only because they looks really amazing, I like it because if you saw with attention all the paintings you can find many things that gives the power to show as a pothographi! well i liked these a lot i think is asome how these are not pictures and also that for some one to make something like these he needs a lot of brain and tecnique in the art field but really i was amaized by the level of the painting is like or better than a picture. and i underestand the propouse of these like that we can allways be like the machins if we want o be better end that all the fields of the art are constantly evolving in all the aspects in order to obtein a better quality of product
I liked it so much! It is just awesome the effect he is doing. They look like a photo, and it is amazing because is not, you get surprise when someone tell that is a painting. I really liked it because their paints are colorful and the technique he is using just gives more elements to think this is a photo. And the way he gives the brightness to the cars, the brightness is the “thing” that gives live to the picture, for my point of view the brightness is what gives you the feeling that is a photo.
well yes I have to admit it´s level of technique is incredible, I also must admit it to be art BUT I dont quite like it, I mean not the works because they are amazing but rather the whole current because we already have something that does this (photography) and I like this better than photorealism because at least in this ones they don just copy a photo but rather create an original one, I believe that even though the paintings are amazing, photography is the art that should stick to portraing reality so "neatly" and "clearly" and painting should take a different direction entirely.
Great! I really like this kind of art, specially cause its about cars, and I consider many car models as pieces of art. I would like to see more paintings of him, about other models of cars not only the old beetles and these other cars,I would like to see how he paints a more classic car, an Alfa Romeo for example or any new models which are the ones that I like the most like the Audi R8. I love it because it almost looks like a photo it's impressive how he can make that effect of looking so real, even the reflections of the things that surround the cars and it not only looks like a photo but it looks kind of retro also by the cars he painted and the colors he used. He paints every single detail of every object in each painting. I love how he reflects the light and paints all the shadows and makes it look so perfect and gives the cars the metallic effect, I mean they really seem like metal. I've seen some other hyperrealistic paintings and you can see every single detail like in the clothes. Also like in the eyes is like you could see every single eyelash, and other example is the water, that amazes me I don't know how they can get such a real effect in every single drop.

Wow! I think this is a really good artis, and its paintings are damn awsome. This is way better than a photo cause it requieres a lot more technique and time, well thats what i think. But also he use a subject that everybody loves: "El BOCHO" as mexicans we feel a conection with the bocho so in my point of view it could be another factor of why most of or classmates love it. it s amazing the technique he use, the light, the colors, everything makes this paint look as a picture. I swear, if google make me rewrite this commentary for a thrid time I'm gonna kill somebody. If there is anything I like about paintings is their level of realism or the concept. In this case, I must say, I love hyperrealism, it just amaze me the way people are able to use the colors, textures and light to give an almost perfect image of reality. Because of this, I consider this style of paint is much better than photography, and has an initial concept of reality plus the concept you wanna add. Also, I must ask, Why the betles in all the pictures?
I saw this the day you posted it but i can't remember why i didn't commented... I think it's really good, but the problem with it was that it is a mixture with painting and photography, it doesn't look real enough, the things are way to shiny, but i mean, it's one of the best i've seen, it takes skill to make those sort of things don't you think? even though i'm not the biggest fan of volkswagen's bettle.
I really think it was a photo first then i say but what an amazing photo and start to realize that reality is not that beautiful in a photo and then i read that there were all paintings and understand why they don´t look as real as they most be so i think its very beauiful this art you can see all the hard working but still at the end you realize that all of us if we see a bochito this days we say whata horrible car and when this artist paint them its like beutiful so i think that is one of the main ideas of him to choose this special tpe of car to paint
