Well!!!!, it appears that 7 lines, here where I write the comments, are 5 in the blog, so I'll complement my past comment saying that I'm not a huge fan of the graffiti, of the paint in general, but it's work is so different and kind of original in some way.
well first of all I think this is really art because the way this graffity artists banksy paint in the walls I think is amazing the drowings of the humans, of the animals I think is really close to the way they are in the real live and its imperissive the way that the people know about him by its paintings iven do they dont realy know him they never hav speake tho him they never see him and like we saw in the class when you are a contexto of your drowing when you are part of the the drawing they say that its a banksy drowing they dont say is a little rat thy say thats a banksy and that is a way to represent how peolpe like their graffits and thats amazing because people realy dont know him and they know about him.
I think it´s amazing how he express himseñf with the grafitti. But he don´t only express himself, he´s his art because people only know him by his art and what he says with it. It´s like a genious because he uses his art for us to see different ideas of the media. I know that all the people thinks different but I´m sure that all that have been seen his work thinks on who´s him and why does he do thins?
I've read osme opinions of important artist like Luis Jaume says that the things that Banski do are not art because it´s vandalism and it´s for people that don´t know anything about art. Maybe they are right because I like his work and I don´t know anything about art but there´s many people that don't know anything about art and love his work and because af this people he can live doing what he likes and they go to his gallery shows and love what he´s doing in the streets. He moves the paople that knows his works, he also appears in an episode of "The Simpsons". He´s famous, but nobody knows him.
While looking through banskys work I couldn´t but notice it´s tremendous resemblance to blek le rat´s work, they both use the same kind of dark humor so to call it in their stencills, after doing some research I even found out they seemingly have collaborated on some of their stencills and they are both influenced by the other one´s tendencys. I believe that they transmit social criticism in their stencills by attacking power figures such as the police in their stencills. Bansky´s work reflects how he believes society has been led to have some serious issues when it comes to handling power such cases can be illustrated by the corruption of the politics which seem to be one of bansky´s main criticism targets. I also believe that there is a further reason to him painting in the streets and ot in a gallery, I believe he does so because the simple act of doing it in the street is a way to protest and also that way he can reach a lot more of people who wouldnt go to a gallery to see his work.
This is amazing, i love it because Banksy is a very good artist not just because he expresse his felings also because peole recognize him like a good artist. What i like more about the art of the graffiti is that this artist make realy art, if you look the wall from distance look very realistic and thats what i love and consider a good artist when make feel other people that what is paint look as real like the art of sidewalk chalk art. in San miguel is also a designated place for people that like graffiti and for me that is very nice, becuse they can express them selfs and also not damaging the walls of the houses. other thing that i love of Bansky art is that is like is you paint in a piece of paper with shadows and many details and not like other people that just go and paint some letters and they consider that they are making art. in my opinion the scene of the girl with the ballons is beutiful and what i can see in Banksy art is that he paint funy things like the scene of the rats. i think is a good artist, so good that he published some books.

Also this type of art for some people is very ugly, and also many people think that its a crime to paint in streets, but if you are allowed to do that and you can do a good painting, do it.....but in some way I think that this paintings on street are bad only when the don`t do a really art piece....because here in queretaroa re menay people that only paint the walls because they want, and they dont know what to pain and they only put like "juan estuvo aqui" or bad words, and that doesn`t look well..so thats because Banksy its a really good artist because he do really art.
I think his art is really awkward in the scence that he has this unique ways to tell the people what he thinks and what is heppening in things that people ignore. For me it is a way to open peoples eyes and let them see the reality of many things. HE has this really controversial ideas that speak about pilitics, world problems and lots of things. I like graffiti and in my pesonal opinion he is just a grafitti painter that wants to express himself although some people do not like it. I like him!
I think that bansky is extraordinary, his art is amazing he express his feelings in his own way, he made his graffiti’s to criticized the society we live nowadays & to express the way he feel about what is going on in our society. Also, I’m quite surprise because he made his art in a few minutes, he do his art in 2 or 4 minutes; because we need that remember that this art is not legal. Just imagine going to your own gallery and no one knows that you’re the artist, would not that be awesome? I think that we don’t need to meet bansky to appreciate his art, if he doesn’t want to be exposed to the society, we need to respect his own point of view, & we need to remember that: “The art is the artist”.
Ok I have three words... I love it!! This video was awesome. I think bansky is a genius, because he make big and extraordinary graffitis in the city, and nobody knows who is he. This type of art is not only interesting but also impressive and fun, because the way he expresses his feelings is very original. Also his grafittis are not made like horrible or balloon effect scratches, but he makes the people and/or rats with a lot of imagination and creativity, so these graffitis doesn`t look like as low neighborhoods graffitis. I love graffitis, but not the ones that that anyone can do, sino this ones, this is art, I think that they should legalize this type of graffitis, because this art is better than others for me. I love it, in fact I want to learn to do this. :)

Well it was very interesting the arts of the graphty because its said that was the urban art = voices of the people(HOW THEY SEE THE SOEMTHING IN THE WORLD ). And i like alot the graphitties because the were very creativity and intelligent of art , its like in the ancient that they put their hand with painture in the wall and was like their sign in the world. Banksy's work is very special for me i really like how the he mixes dark colors with very strinking colors, for example the rat with the acid, the context of his grafitti is very interesting (war, corruption, and much more), all has a meaning depending where they are. I've all ways have liked banksy's work but i din't know his name, now i knoe the context of his work and i think it is even mor special.
I think graffitti is one of the best ways to express your thoughts and creative ideas, mainly because these type of art is not shown in a museum because the ones in charge dont consider it too important. it is AMAZING i have never seen such an incredible way to express art... he one that i like the mosts is the one of the trashcan with the periscope, and feet.I also like that in that conutry, people don´t talk about him, as they do in mexico of the people that make graffiies. maybe one reason is that he does not paint only for painting, he rally has a purpose, to express and make happy the poeple making tem see life in a different way with his art. ther reason why i lke this, is because is is a kind of art that is not really recognised as art, and when people find his works, they change their mind. what I don´t like, is tha part of the museum, because he cann´t be playing with such importatn pieces
La verdad pienso que el graffiti es bueno y malo. Es malo cuando es hecho por cualquier persona y nada mas para marcar un "territorio" o para expresar nada mas groserias, ese tipo de graffitis la verdad son asquerosos con toda la expresion de la palabra, por que simplemente se hacen por vandalismo y falta de respeto a la propiedad ajena; Por otro lado el graffiti lo considero bueno cuando es como el de banks, para expresar ideas criticas hacia la sociedad, para hacer reflexionar a las personas, en verdad sus graffitis los considero arte y muy buenos, aunque no encuentro tanto gusto por las ratas que el tiene...de cualquier manera lo que hace es arte y creo profundamente que asi deberian de ser todos los graffitis, no solo rayar paredes por rayarlas.

For me the graffiti is a great art, even though you affect others properties, is a way to express yourself,and I loved the way banksy make his graffitis and the way he occults in anonymous and also is very known in his city. I think that the graffiti is being accepted by the society, many years ago people thought it is vandalism and even in actual times but is a great form of art. I liked how his graffitis decorated the city. it's like he revolutionize the creativity to express what society is being now a days.
For me the most impressive thing is that nobody knows him. They can immediately recognize his work but they can't recognize the person who did it. Also I think that his work is amazing because he makes huge graffitis and not only they are huge but they are expressing his unconformity with the politics and it is amazing how he uses the stencils to create this great art expressions. I would like to have the talent this guy has, because he really is talented if he can do all this things. And I also love how he paints the rats, they are just like a real rat. I also think some of his graffitis are very original, like the ones he painted in L.A. for the Academy Awards nommination I really loved how he puts the Oscar with the Clones of Star Wars.
I think that banksy is a cool person that does cool art and is like a superhero because he likes to keep his identity safe. I really liked his paintings because they are all black and white and they all have a meaning depending in where he painted them. I think he wants people to appreciate him because of what he paints and not what he is.
I think that one important point in these graffitis is that there is a lot of significance in their representations, it's the art of expresing concern towards daily life, and feelings of a citizen expressed in the place where all those issues and events happen, in the city. It's art reaching random people that may be encountered with these drawings at any time in any moment and that as we can see in the video (the exposition) many people do apreciate this way of art, and consider it inovating and meaningful
I really love grafiti, but now knowing banksy, is a whole new level, I really love how he uses the irony in the society and its problems and makes it art. For me this kind of grafiti is the one we should see in the street because it remember us the society in which we are living in, because sometimes we dont want to see our reality, being hipocrite. Also I believe that one of the main factors banksy is so known or popular is that anonimus and that gives him a sort of charm that is percieved in its paintings. I really enjoy its´paintings.

From the beginning, Banksy's purpose was to show people, and much more, people in charge, the bad things that happen in society. He performed his work with a "gang" with whom he painted with another technique: spray technique applied directly to walls. Then one day when he had to escape from the police, after having written "always late" on a train wagon, he hid from the police under a truck were he saw letters painted with a stencil; it was then when he decided to change his style to this of the use of the stencil stencil, he thought he had to be quicker.-known from a book he wrote- With this we can see that he has continued with his original purpose: show society the truth of what is behind some things. He has many topics, and they are all represented in an amazing way. I also read about how the city council is willing to erase the thirty or so Banksy graffiti's. This must be because not only it is considered vandalism but some of the messages he shows are not convinient for the council to be shown among all people. I really think his work is amazing, and it really seems for him to enjoy doing what he does so even if he is not the one who takes the money for his work, he must be okay with it and dont really care about money. If he did, he would have shown from the begginig to the public. Whats so curious and admirable too, is that no one seems to see him when he is doing his work. I remember the first time i met the work of bansky... it was a electrical box connection painted as a building, and even though i didn't knew it was his work i was rejoiced about the simplicity of it. For months i saw a lot of his work because of his internet fame, and the moment i knew who was him i knew all of his work. it really like the way he expresses himself, and the idea of doing art for himself, because he was ( or is) persecuted in many countries for his controversial work, it's really amazing what someone can do for the love of his art.
Its amazing how a person can make art expresing his feelings is not easy for any person to do that. I think that is incredible the way he express the way he think with graffiti using a paicif way of show how the people suffer with the goverments. I think that art is orr feelings materialize, so this graffitis are the art of expression by a human .I really want to learn how to the feelings like him like art. I wish more start using this way of art to express their feelings or to protest
I think it was amazing because its now a days like a pseudonym the name "Bansky" that today we use it like a art style and the way he use the creativity to make that "ironic thruth" was kind of surprising because in certain way he shows like the real side of the world but with that sparkle of wish or hope that never ends for us, that try to show we can expressed ourselves no matter the circumstances just "fighting" to not like notice the world "who you are" it is like proving the world "what you did" loving your art. Bueno en verdad no soy un gran fan de la pintura ademas que a mi no me late mucho el graffiti porque muchos los usan solo para llamar la atención dañando propiedad privada pero no se puede negar que es porfin algo realmente fuera de contexto, fuera de lo convencional y que es un estilo muy complicado y con un resultado grandioso, Banksy me ha impresionado ademas realmente las imagenes que salen son asombrosas es como entrar a otra realidad, realmente muy bueno prof!!

it is AMAZING i have never seen such an incredible way to express art... he one that i like the mosts is the one of the trashcan with the periscope, and feet.I also like that in that conutry, people don´t talk about him, as they do in mexico of the people that make graffiies. maybe one reason is that he does not paint only for painting, he rally has a purpose, to express and make happy the poeple making tem see life in a different way with his art. ther reason why i lke this, is because is is a kind of art that is not really recognised as art, and when people find his works, they change their mind. what I don´t like, is tha part of the museum, because he cann´t be playing with such importatn pieces
ResponderEliminarLa verdad pienso que el graffiti es bueno y malo. Es malo cuando es hecho por cualquier persona y nada mas para marcar un "territorio" o para expresar nada mas groserias, ese tipo de graffitis la verdad son asquerosos con toda la expresion de la palabra, por que simplemente se hacen por vandalismo y falta de respeto a la propiedad ajena; Por otro lado el graffiti lo considero bueno cuando es como el de banks, para expresar ideas criticas hacia la sociedad, para hacer reflexionar a las personas, en verdad sus graffitis los considero arte y muy buenos, aunque no encuentro tanto gusto por las ratas que el tiene...de cualquier manera lo que hace es arte y creo profundamente que asi deberian de ser todos los graffitis, no solo rayar paredes por rayarlas.

For me the graffiti is a great art, even though you affect others properties, is a way to express yourself,and I loved the way banksy make his graffitis and the way he occults in anonymous and also is very known in his city. I think that the graffiti is being accepted by the society, many years ago people thought it is vandalism and even in actual times but is a great form of art. I liked how his graffitis decorated the city. it's like he revolutionize the creativity to express what society is being now a days.
ResponderEliminarFor me the most impressive thing is that nobody knows him. They can immediately recognize his work but they can't recognize the person who did it. Also I think that his work is amazing because he makes huge graffitis and not only they are huge but they are expressing his unconformity with the politics and it is amazing how he uses the stencils to create this great art expressions. I would like to have the talent this guy has, because he really is talented if he can do all this things. And I also love how he paints the rats, they are just like a real rat. I also think some of his graffitis are very original, like the ones he painted in L.A. for the Academy Awards nommination I really loved how he puts the Oscar with the Clones of Star Wars.

I really liked his paintings because they are all black and white and they all have a meaning depending in where he painted them. I think he wants people to appreciate him because of what he paints and not what he is.
ResponderEliminarI think that one important point in these graffitis is that there is a lot of significance in their representations, it's the art of expresing concern towards daily life, and feelings of a citizen expressed in the place where all those issues and events happen, in the city. It's art reaching random people that may be encountered with these drawings at any time in any moment and that as we can see in the video (the exposition) many people do apreciate this way of art, and consider it inovating and meaningful

I really love grafiti, but now knowing banksy, is a whole new level, I really love how he uses the irony in the society and its problems and makes it art. For me this kind of grafiti is the one we should see in the street because it remember us the society in which we are living in, because sometimes we dont want to see our reality, being hipocrite. Also I believe that one of the main factors banksy is so known or popular is that anonimus and that gives him a sort of charm that is percieved in its paintings. I really enjoy its´paintings.

He performed his work with a "gang" with whom he painted with another technique: spray technique applied directly to walls. Then one day when he had to escape from the police, after having written "always late" on a train wagon, he hid from the police under a truck were he saw letters painted with a stencil; it was then when he decided to change his style to this of the use of the stencil stencil, he thought he had to be quicker.-known from a book he wrote-
ResponderEliminarWith this we can see that he has continued with his original purpose: show society the truth of what is behind some things. He has many topics, and they are all represented in an amazing way.
I also read about how the city council is willing to erase the thirty or so Banksy graffiti's. This must be because not only it is considered vandalism but some of the messages he shows are not convinient for the council to be shown among all people.
I really think his work is amazing, and it really seems for him to enjoy doing what he does so even if he is not the one who takes the money for his work, he must be okay with it and dont really care about money. If he did, he would have shown from the begginig to the public.
Whats so curious and admirable too, is that no one seems to see him when he is doing his work. It must be really difficult, although of course hes now got a lot of practice.
Id really love for him to paint in Mexico and of course, in my house, haha.

I remember the first time i met the work of bansky... it was a electrical box connection painted as a building, and even though i didn't knew it was his work i was rejoiced about the simplicity of it. For months i saw a lot of his work because of his internet fame, and the moment i knew who was him i knew all of his work.

Its amazing how a person can make art expresing his feelings is not easy for any person to do that. I think that is incredible the way he express the way he think with graffiti using a paicif way of show how the people suffer with the goverments. I think that art is orr feelings materialize, so this graffitis are the art of expression by a human .I really want to learn how to the feelings like him like art. I wish more start using this way of art to express their feelings or to protest

ResponderEliminarI think it was amazing because its now a days like a pseudonym the name "Bansky" that today we use it like a art style and the way he use the creativity to make that "ironic thruth" was kind of surprising because in certain way he shows like the real side of the world but with that sparkle of wish or hope that never ends for us, that try to show we can expressed ourselves no matter the circumstances just "fighting" to not like notice the world "who you are" it is like proving the world "what you did" loving your art.
