And what i was most shocked about was that he sometimes had to modify his paintings because his mother asked him to do it because sometimes they were to... strong or creepy so imagine how some of there really were. And well here we can see that theres artr for all kind of preferences, but unfortunately this is not my preference imagine having one of those paintings in your room and waking up at night and seing that freightning painting of the woman staring at you!!!! It's a like different of all that I've seen. How culd someone have dreams with all this creatures and ideas? I think that not only his ideas asre crazy, because the art i the artist, he is totally crazy. I don´t understand how his paradaise is hell. I believe it is good to represent your feelings through art, and thats what he does, and he does it well. I don’t like this post, I was afraid of the video, because is darkness and is about devil and hell and I don’t like to speak about that. But it is art, obviously is the way the artist express. In one part of the video he said “for me the paradise is hell” and that’s cool because he has another perspective of paradise, every artist has it. But it is awesome because he doesn’t matter what people said about it, some people said that is afraid of it, but sometimes he also is afraid of. But his art is nice because he express how he feel, what he see, he express his dreams his illusions everything. He is wonderful artist because he dare to express his paradise in his own way.

I agree wit you now, that's why most of us got scared with this because it represents a fear most of all the people have, the dark. This man represents our fears in his drawings and paintings but he sees them in another way, his paradise, and he said that he doesn't like suffering, no one likes that, as he is a human he puts his fears and lots of people relate. Nice, not he kind of art that I enjoy the most but I think that what he does is awesome. I really like how he expresses death and dark stuff, its not the type of paintings that I would buy for my house, but its perfect if you want to scare some people. He doesnt use too much colors as you see but the effects he provoces are fantastic. Also I really like the way he made Alien look that good, I think that his art is really nice.

Ok so... I think this is the most creepy kind of art i have seen in my entire life and even though sometimes i like those "paranormal" things like aliens i could never see hell as paradise, or be able to paint the things he paint. I think it's a very dark kind of art and the fact that he uses shadows and other things that he imagines it's scary, but I respect this kind of art, because it is art although some people couldn't consider this as real art.

Damn! Giger's art is pretty cool even though it is creepy, it expresses perfectly the way he feels and the word ''Fear''. I really like from all his creation the Allien, it is his best creation. I like the way he paint, in a dark way, but the dude is a pretty freak, maybe he has a psycological problem but his art is pretty good.

@Profe Jaime I think it is very interesting how we judge really quickly without having a background on what we are commenting on because everyone centers their comment around the "darkness" and "creepiness" of the works and nevertheless cyberpunk art isnt nearly near wanting to express THAT as the main concept, cyberpunk art started as a futuristic expression where technology and human would merge aand thats the reason of all these drawings, also not all cyberpunk expressions are dark, movies like blade runer and even matrix could be seen as the tipical example of what the cyberpunk movement really represents

Quite, good, I think, nothing special really, just another artist with it's own style, and things that freack out the people, because it is rare and different, bla bla bla, nice point about the Aliens, good movies, the first one. WF!! that's the most creepy plays of art that I ever saw, the way he enjoys and make all that art it's maybe something to admire but I really dislike his play and I agree with what his mother told him once, " change a little bit what you do", I really freak out with the images sculptures of babies, skeletons and other weird things that were shown with the sound of babies crying. I see this paintings and i can't stop thinking about how many deadly works we see everyday, i mean, i even went to a gallery today and every wall was covered in blood and suffering. I know this fashion trend is different, because Giger may be a close relation to what the gothic tribe like, a shallowing portrait of how they concibe the world, how dark they see the human existence, while the art i saw today at the gallery shows what mexicans are living now, all the violence, all the war, all the danger we keep on creating. Sometimes i'm pleased about my time, i like being part of the 90's generation, but sometimes i'd like to live in a time were everyone focused in the beautiful world we have, a way of dealing with what's really important, not oil, not territory, just the concern about preserving what we have around us.

I think this art is pretty good is interesting to see all the dark characters he paint like the alien or the woman like the aro or the grudge. In my very particular point of view i like this art because im fan of the horror and scare films also my favorite color is dark so it combine some caracteristics that i like so much. Meanwhile many people would said that it is very sad or punk or crazy or insane. I think is awesome I really like the first picture because the sky it seems like water so you don’t know if it is the sky or the sea. This kind of art has lots of diferent ways to see it. THis artist expresses himself with this new idea of art mixing something abstract with matematics. Some people might say that it is a really interesting art; and it is is just that i express myself with other thins and almost all the people epress different, and if this men is an artist well his creations are art and thats what matters!! I dont know what he felt or what really inspired him to do that but anyway his art is really creepy!!!!

@Beatriz Rafaela Jiménez Millán I disagree with you thought of him not looking like a harmful person, in my opinion his face shows he is crazy, at least for me he has the kind of face of someone who would be a serial killer, but I agree with you when you say that someone must have had made him suffer bcause he says he doesn't like suffering, maybe he has a trauma or a mental transtornation that makes him be or think that way or maybe he just like those things, we maybe will never know but what we see is the kind of art that makes us feel scared and maybe there is people that shares this guys feelings about the things that he draws and paints, that they feel like that isn't scary or depressing at all, they think is paradise just like him.

@Omar Najar L.I hadn't seen this the way you did as a human characteristic, I think you opened my eyes to see this in another way, you really did. I agree wit you now, that's why most of us got scared with this because it represents a fear most of all the people have, the dark. This man represents our fears in his drawings and paintings but he sees them in another way, his paradise, and he said that he doesn't like suffering, no one likes that, as he is a human he puts his fears and lots of people relate. And I think most of us love the alien movies.

Nice, not he kind of art that I enjoy the most but I think that what he does is awesome. I really like how he expresses death and dark stuff, its not the type of paintings that I would buy for my house, but its perfect if you want to scare some people. He doesnt use too much colors as you see but the effects he provoces are fantastic. Also I really like the way he made Alien look that good, I think that his art is really nice.

Ok so... I think this is the most creepy kind of art i have seen in my entire life and even though sometimes i like those "paranormal" things like aliens i could never see hell as paradise, or be able to paint the things he paint. I think it's a very dark kind of art and the fact that he uses shadows and other things that he imagines it's scary, but I respect this kind of art, because it is art although some people couldn't consider this as real art.

Damn! Giger's art is pretty cool even though it is creepy, it expresses perfectly the way he feels and the word ''Fear''. I really like from all his creation the Allien, it is his best creation. I like the way he paint, in a dark way, but the dude is a pretty freak, maybe he has a psycological problem but his art is pretty good.

I really loved these its just got something that catches your sight its not only the image but the technique what gives it that "Horrifing" feeling to his works I love how he works with the differnt tones of greys and black as well as he plays with reality by fusing living things with machines in his work that really blury line of were the man/animal ends and the machine begins is purely genius

ResponderEliminarI think it is very interesting how we judge really quickly without having a background on what we are commenting on because everyone centers their comment around the "darkness" and "creepiness" of the works and nevertheless cyberpunk art isnt nearly near wanting to express THAT as the main concept, cyberpunk art started as a futuristic expression where technology and human would merge aand thats the reason of all these drawings, also not all cyberpunk expressions are dark, movies like blade runer and even matrix could be seen as the tipical example of what the cyberpunk movement really represents

ResponderEliminarIt is actually important to say he started getting into this current of art after the suicide of Li Tobler(who he was emotianally involved with) so I think we can assume almost without doubt he did kind of lost his mind since then XD
So well it's true such as Jaime said... Even when it's scary and it freaked all of us out it's still art and still self expression, and by the way it really is art I mean we even made it art... By the simple fact of criticizing it and saying if it seems pretty or ugly...

This kind of art is very creepy and ficcional i like it a lot. It can reflec a lot of anothelife in the universe. This guy is very creative, because not anyone can think about ficional and dark charactars. Ireally like the matirial he uses in his work because it gives it this creepy touch to its art.

wow it is awesome, I liked the way the artist thought, it is amazing how even it is a darker art is full of life. everyone can appreciate what ever they want but sometimes the opinions are full of criticism when it is a talent he got. even his mom didn't want him to make that kind of art she stills love him. his paintings are awesome with not too much color but it looks cool.

WF!! that's the most creepy plays of art that I ever saw, the way he enjoys and make all that art it's maybe something to admire but I really dislike his play and I agree with what his mother told him once, " change a little bit what you do", I really freak out with the images sculptures of babies, skeletons and other weird things that were shown with the sound of babies crying. I really shocked and that isn't my art.

ResponderEliminarI know this fashion trend is different, because Giger may be a close relation to what the gothic tribe like, a shallowing portrait of how they concibe the world, how dark they see the human existence, while the art i saw today at the gallery shows what mexicans are living now, all the violence, all the war, all the danger we keep on creating.
Sometimes i'm pleased about my time, i like being part of the 90's generation, but sometimes i'd like to live in a time were everyone focused in the beautiful world we have, a way of dealing with what's really important, not oil, not territory, just the concern about preserving what we have around us.

I think this art is pretty good is interesting to see all the dark characters he paint like the alien or the woman like the aro or the grudge. In my very particular point of view i like this art because im fan of the horror and scare films also my favorite color is dark so it combine some caracteristics that i like so much. Meanwhile many people would said that it is very sad or punk or crazy or insane.

ResponderEliminari think this is relly weird, this artists has a very stange way of thinking, in the video, he mentions the people think that his art was kind of evil, and he responds that not because his art is evil, he is evil. bur i do not think so, i think that if your art is happy, is because you were happy, and in this case, if your arrt is evil, is because, even though you do not mean to create evilness and you do it, is because there is a part inside of you that is really thinking in that.

I just amazing the relation that this artist is doing with the art.
This kind of art has lots of diferent ways to see it. THis artist expresses himself with this new idea of art mixing something abstract with matematics. I like how he measures and gives sence to his arts ans it is something that is not like the same monotonous type of art, I really do not know his inspirations or why he did this type of art but it is really interesting and a completely different way to see art. We know art is a reall complicated term, but everything that an artist makes is ART so I did like it. Is is also impressive how he combines two different opposites, but he makes it in a really cool way!
